This page is intended to help you with registration only. Be sure to download a copy of the 2022-23 Lancer Regiment Schedule to find dates of all practice sessions, competitions and other events throughout the season.
Note that all cash or check (payable to ‘LHS Band Boosters’) payments must be enclosed in a Deposit Envelope. Be sure to pick up a supply of these at the Fall Parent Meeting or from Mr Balog’s office during school hours.
Online Payments can be made on our Square site with a 3% processing fee. Click on “Parent Payment Portal” at the top or in the top left menu (smart phones).

April 15
DUE: Lancer Regiment Commitment Forms
- Review the 2022-23 Lancer Regiment Schedule to ensure your availability for ALL DATES throughout the season.
- Read the Marching Band Attendance Policy to UNDERSTAND YOUR OBLIGATIONS.
- Follow Lafayette Bands on Facebook and Twitter, and Color Guard on Facebook.
- Join the private Facebook group for current year band staff, students and parents.

DUE: Under Uniform and Spirit Wear Orders
All band members (apart from color guard) need at least one undershirt, one pair of shorts, and one pair of socks. The cost of one undershirt is covered by the parent association for each new student (order as usual through the site). It is highly recommended that you have two of each item for laundering purposes. Students with uniforms from 2019 in good condition do not need to purchase new.

REQUIRED: Add Physical Exam to Privit
- All students who participate in athletics at Lafayette (including Marching Band) need to have a physical completed on the Rockwood Physical Exam Form. This needs to be uploaded to the Privit website. Physicals dated 07/01/2021 or later will be accepted.
- The first time you use Privit you need to register. In future years you can return to the same account and update information and upload a new physical form.

July 18 6pm
First Full Band Rehearsal
- The following forms will be submitted in person to Band Staff on July 18 on the first day of rehearsal. Forms will not be accepted prior to July 18 unless a student is out of town during the July 18-21 rehearsals.
- REQUIRED – Out-of-Town or Overnight Travel Release
- REQUIRED – Out-of-Town or Overnight Travel Field Trip Agreement and Student Information Form
- REQUIRED – Request for Administering Medication to Students and Waiver and Indemnification*
- This form must be completed and signed by a physician for students to self administer both OTC meds (like Ibuprofen) and prescription meds.
- Completing this form is highly recommended so that students may at least self-administer ibuprofen for more effective pain management.
- REQUIRED – Trip Rules
- Photo (clear head shot) of the student
- Balance for Band Camp $200 (Total is $400, $200 was due at 5/9 Meeting)

* Optional if you don’t want your child to carry any over the counter or prescription medications.

In LHS Theater. Important information about camp. Students will join us toward the end.

DUE: Gloves and Shoes Order and Payment
All students (except percussion and color guard) require gloves. Students are encouraged to buy two pair of gloves. All new students (except color guard) are required to buy shoes. Returning students can re-use shoes and gloves from previous seasons. Order forms will be given to students when they are fitted for their uniforms in the first week of rehearsals (July 18-21). Shoe size will be measured at this time if required. Prices – gloves $3, shoes $35.

LR Family Night at LHS
Dinner and first preview of the show to family members. Families are asked to bring a meal for a potluck dinner. The schedule for the evening is:
- 6-7pm LR Rehearsal (Students only)
- 7-8pm Dinner with Families in the Commons
- 8-9pm LR Performance in the Stadium
