Location
The competition will be held on the football field at Lafayette High School, 17050 Clayton Road, Wildwood. Clinics for participating bands will be held onsite inside the school. Spectators are not able to attend the clinics.
Schedule
Please see the Schedule page for the order and anticipated performance times. The venue will open to spectators approximately one hour prior to the anticipated first performance time.
There is a scheduled break between the preliminaries and finals of approximately 1-2 hours. Concessions and vendors will remain open during this break.
An awards ceremony will be held at the end of the preliminaries competition. At this time the 10 finalists will be announced along with order and anticipated performance times.
There will be a final awards ceremony at the end of the night.
Restrooms and Building Access
There is no access to the building for spectators. Student participants may not enter the building except when accompanied by an escort to participate in a clinic. Restrooms are not available inside the school during the day. There are restrooms available near the field entry and some temporary restrooms available in the carpark.
Entry and Seating
The fee for entry is $10 for adults and $5 for non-participanting students and seniors 65+. You will receive an wristband at the gate that will allow you to leave and re-enter the venue. There will be no access to the venue without a wristband.
You may sit anywhere in the home side or visitor bleachers, except that the top two rows of bleachers in the center section are reserved for band directors. For the benefit of both bands and spectators please find you seat in between performances and remain quiet during performances.
Printed souvenir programs will be available at the gate for $5. An online program is available for no charge. If you would like to advertise your business in our program please contact us at least four weeks prior to the event!
Food and Drink
There is a variety of concessions available throughout the day for purchase. Please support our concession stands so that we can continue to bring you a high quality competition each year. The concessions menu is available on the menu page.
Parking
The parking lot will be very crowded. Please carpool as much as possible! Cars parked on Clayton Road or Highway 109 may be ticketed and/or towed. Parking on private property around the school is also prohibited.
Priority for parking on the school grounds will be given to those with mobility limitations. Please alert the parking attendants to your needs on arrival and follow their instructions.
Additional parking is available at Babler Elementary School, a quarter of a mile north of Lafayette on Highway 109. There is a wide sidewalk between the schools and for safety, please cross Clayton Road at the traffic light for the main entrance into the LHS parking lot. Beginning at noon and continuing until the end of the competition, a shuttle will run between Babler Elementary to Lafayette High School.

A small variety of vendors will be present throughout the event. Please support them!
AirGrams and Fan Favorites
Send an over-the-loudspeaker shout out to your favorite marcher, guard member, director or band! Look for the AirGrams table near the stadium to order yours! Note – AirGrams will be read AFTER the band performs. AirGrams need to be purchased at least 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Vote for your favorite band at the Beverage tent by the entrance to the bleachers – $1 = 1 vote! The winning band will be awarded the Fan Favorites trophy after prelims.
